MAGICAL CRYSTAL SOAP

INGREDIENTS:
- 2LB WHITE GLYCERINE SOAP
- 2LB CLEAR GYCERINE BASE
- 18 2-0Z PLASTIC CUP
- 3 8-OZ PLASTIC CUP
- COLOURANT
- LARGE MEASURING CUP
- ESSENTIAL OIL
- SCISSOR
- TOOTHPICK
- SMOOTH KNIFE
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Cut 1/2 pound of the clear vegetable glycerin soap base, and place into a microwave-safe measuring glass. Microwave until liquified.
- Pour the soap into nine 2-ounce plastic containers. Immediately add soap colorant (avoid using food coloring to prevent staining and transferring). Mix (if solid color desired). Set aside until solid.
- Cut 1/2 pound of the white vegetable glycerin soap base, and place into a microwave-safe measuring glass. Microwave until liquified.
- Pour the soap into nine 2-ounce plastic containers. Immediately add soap colorant, mix, and set aside.
- Once solid, pop out the 2-ounce colored clear glycerin soaps and cut them into small shards and slices.
- Repeat with colored white glycerin soaps.
- Assort colored soap shards to preference in 8-ounce plastic cups (to resemble the natural coloring of a crystal).
- Melt 1/2 pound of the clear vegetable glycerin soap base, and pour 2 ounces of melted clear soap base over colored soap shards into each 8-ounce plastic cup.
- Melt 1/2 pound of the white vegetable glycerin soap base, and pour 3 ounces of melted clear soap base over colored soap shards into each 8-ounce plastic cup.
- Pour the remaining melted clear soap base until all the soap shards are covered. Microwave 8-ounce cups to melt the colors together (monitor and make sure plastic cup doesn’t melt — use a oven mitt if necessary).
- Refrigerate until solid, and use scissors to cut the soap out. Use a non-serrated knife to cut into crystal shape.
